S C A M S
Below are some a SCAMS I have received. Reporting these to the Servers that these people use, in an effort to keep them from ripping off people who don't recognize a SCAM when they see one, doesn't do any good. It is just a big waste of time and aggravation.
The picture to the right is the one that was attached to the SCAM below in Red. These people STEAL pictures off real breeders' websites and then put them in their mass emails to the general public.

The most recent SCAMS are coming via RELAY SERVICES FOR THE DEAF !!! HOW RUDE IS THAT ??????????????
The phone number mine came in on was an 866 area code.
Below is a SCAM I received 8-14-09:
"Hello Sorry to bother you with me mail,How are you? i hope you are well,my name is Njeko Stephen.i useto live in Hamburg Germany,the photo of the puppy you see is my puppy,her name is Beki , i bought her when i was in Germany,now am back in my country and brought Beki with me,but the climate in Africa is not favourable for this dog,she don't like it here and i don't want her to suffer or die because i love her so much,So please i want to fly her to you if only you will promise me that you will take good care of her,I will give her to you for free,You will like her,she is so friendly.
I will also like us to be friends after you have received Beki because i will like you to always tell me how she is doing,Beki is 11weeks old."
I received a phone call from a DOCTOR in West Palm Beach. She fell for this one. Here is what she said to me:
"I heard that you do 'Rescue'? Well, I got an email from some people in England who's Grandmother died and left a whole litter of puppies that they don't know what to do with, and they are looking for someone to take them... FREE !! All you have to do is pay the air fare !! Why wouldn't they be able to find homes for them in England ? Can you help ?"
It took me a long loooong time to convince her that there ARE NO PUPPIES... they just want you to send them $$$$
I just learned about this one on 8-20-09. It's been around for several years though. It's a guy who says Line Breeding is a SIN, that he's a Genetic Breeder, and that if you want to join his sainted group, you must send $5000 to join "the family". In reality, it's a Pyramid Scheme !
I got this one (below in green) on 8-28-09. It's another "please help me and take a free puppy". THERE IS NO PUPPY !!! As soon as you write back, they start hounding you for money for "air fare" for these non-existent dogs. It's amazing how many people fall for this one.
My grandmother who I was really close to passed away last year. As sad as it was, I inherited the greatest gift of all, Maggie. Maggie is a 5 year old pug who we got for my grandmother 5 years ago on Valentines Day.
Although my grandmother has had many dogs in her life, Maggie was her favorite. She brought so much joy to her life. Today, I could not have asked for a better companion. She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. Her hobbies include eating, sleeping, and worshiping the ground I walk on.
Maggie got with a next door male pug by accident and she has now has a litter of puppies,I want to adopt the pupies out to a good home, I cannot take care of them, I have spayed maggie after she had her litter to stop this kind of mistake from happening again.

DON'T SEND ANYONE "AIR FARE ONLY" IN ADVANCE .... ESPECIALLY IF IT'S TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY. YOU WILL NEVER SEE A DOG IN RETURN.

I just got this one on 9-3-09. Remember another clue is if the addressee is Undisclosed Recipients:
"I am looking to place a litter of 5 adorable bulldog puppies. and also the parents. They belong to my late mother in law who I was really close to and she passed away unexpectedly, these puppies are so cute with correct conformation and excellent dispositions with shots and worming up to date. They do the funniest things. You just cant get enough of their playful antics. And they are growing so fast. Contact me immediately if you are interested in them."
