AT STUD... Dulcinea's D.J.

D.J. was 3 yrs old on 9-14-2023.  He is about 23 lbs and very balanced.  He is truly a Dulcinea Frenchie, since I bred both of his parents.

Reverse Brindle is my personally favorite color, but he will likely also produce pied and fawn, depending on his girlfriend's coloring.

As of 3-3-23, D.J. has been bred 4 times.

D.J. is DNA'd with the American Kennel Club as V942650

GENETIC MARKERS:  D.J. is negative (or clear) and OFA'd for all of the 5 areas that currently are recommended to test for in French Bulldogs:

~ Canine Multifocal Retinopathy

~ Degenerative Myelopathy

~ Hyperuricosuria

~ Juvenile Hereditary Cateracts

~ Cystinuria

Please note these are "genetic markers". Having the marker does not necessarily mean the dog will have the medical problem. NOT having the marker does not mean he/she WON'T.

But I think it is in the best interest of any breed to try to breed away from genetic markers, and not just ignore them.

We do not do any breedings ourselves.

I can bring my Stud Dog to your Veterinarian, if within a reasonable distance. In that event, the $500 Stud Fee must be in cash at the time of breeding.

Semen can be shipped chilled via UPS or FedEx. The Stud fee is to be paid in advance of shipment. Shipping and the Vet charges are also the responsibility of the bitch owner. Breeding or shipment will be performed by my Veterinarian:

If you are anticipating a breeding, you should be prepared for the event. Once a girl goes into heat, it could be only a matter of a few days until she is ready to breed. And you need to "have your ducks in a row", so to speak.

If there is no resultant pregnancy, you will be given a second attempt. Please note you are also responsible for the shipping and Veterinary costs for any second attempt.

Please know that we will NOT breed to any bitches who are not AKC Registered.

This is not personal. It is a matter of compliance with the Code of Ethics of the French Bull Dog Club of America, and keeping the breed pure.
